Let's see what ESPN.com's AFC North readers have on their minds this week:
On the Pittsburgh Steelers ...
Jason Mills from Knoxville, TN, writes: Great blog James. But, how about the Steelers defense this week? Can anyone really put up points against this defense when they aren't having to start their work on their own 45 like they have been against NYG and IND. I love watching their defense fly all over the field.
Matt writes: I have reviewed that last touchdown in the Steelers game. Touchdown Touchdown Touchdown. Ridiculous taking that away. They need to over turn that review. Final 17-10.
Matt from Richmond, VA writes: RE: Uneasy Crowd @ Heinz Field- With the number one defense winning the game again, the offense put up all sorts of yards but no touchdowns. SteelersNation is uneasy right now in large part due to Bruce Arians horrendous situational playcalling.
Joshua from Orlando writes: James Harrison for defensive MVP. No one is playing better than this guy right now. He is doing EVERYTHING! He is getting sacks left and right and making interceptions. But the big thing is that he does all of this stuff when it really matters in the clutch. I think a good argument could be made for Polamalu as well but I have to give the nod to Harrison, he has simply been amazing. Keep up the good work Mr. Walker.
On the Cleveland Browns ...
Dirk writes: JW...I think I have finally figured out what the problem with the Browns is. There is so little passion on the field. Look at Pittsburgh, Baltimore, NYG, even New England, they are all high fives and chest bumps. They make a big play or even just a good stop on D and they are all excited. Clevelands D doesn't act like that. What struck me watching the game tonight was that outside of Shaun Rogers and McGinnest at times, nobody on Clevelands D attacks the ball carrier. They don't seem to get all excited, be cocky, walk with a swagger and be the Alpha Dawgs they need to be. Clevelands D simply plays too nice, which equates to being passive. On offense, tonight Quinn looked like a smart 2nd year pro in his second start. He missed a lot but didn't make any harmful mistakes. Can anyone in or around the Browns offense tell me why Jerome Harrison is not playing more? All he does is make positive plays. The big run was great, but that catch on the sideline was incredible!
James Chadwick writes: Man, I had to leave for work right after dawson made it 3-0. You make Browns relevant, this team should be 7-3 right now. What do you think BQ vs DA? I read Cleve forums, I live in LA, they are going nuts after a win. But I like the passion. Don't settle for less. Ron Rivera as coach? Just a question. Go with Brady, he's a Rock Star..especially in Cleveland. Take me past the forums and be objective and subjective. King James. Have a great week. You have a great first name by the way.
Ole from Norway writes: Hey James, Great Blog. I have an issue with one of your latest articles though. The Cleveland Browns won a big one on Monday vs the Bills. But to say that something has changed and they didn't "quit is jumping the gun. They let the Bills get a 47 yard field goal try to win it in the last minute. If that field goal doesn't go wide right, I imagine your article "No quit in these Browns" would have quite a different subtitle. The field goal try is on the kicker. It was not blocked. The Browns had nothing to do with the fact that Lindell missed. They were handed the game by Ryan Lindell and Dick Jauron. Now the Browns played a good game in several aspects. But they were absolutly killed in the kicking game. Which is were the Bills got most of their points from. I believe the Browns deserved to win, but I still say they quit. They gave their opponent one shot too many to win it in the 4th, Dick Jauron and Ryan Lindell just didn't capatilize on it. That's how I see it. Im quite happy the Browns won though.
On the Cincinnati Bengals ...
Don from Cincinnati writes: I just watched Monday NFL Countdown and the discusssion about Donavan McNabb's comments about not realizing that the game ended after the overtime period. I was at the game and I can tell you that over 50% of the fans around me didn't know it either. So to say everyone knows the rule, it is a bit presumptuous.
On the Baltimore Ravens ...
J from Pittsburgh writes: James, I was reading some comments from Ravens fans. They are complaining that Steelers fans say that they haven't played anyone yet so they can't be taken seriously. They have played some quality teams in the Colts, Steelers, and Titans, however they lost all 3 of these games. The teams that the Ravens have beaten aren't very good, besides arguably the Dolphins. It's not a matter of not playing anyone, it's a matter of not beating the good teams on the schedule. They have a chance to prove us wrong this weekend against the Giants, however they have already had chances this season and didn't get a win. If they step up this weekend they are legit, but if not I don't think they have much of an argument left.
