Reports surfaced late last month the Buffalo Bills had reached an agreement with head coach Dick Jauron on a three-year contract extension.

That was just before the Bills played the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 26.

Four straight losses later, we've heard nary a word from the Bills or Jauron about the contract.

"The only thing I can say about that is, as you well know, we don't discuss those matters here," was all Jauron would say Wednesday when asked by reporters about his reported extension. Jauron is in the final year of his original Bills contract.

Not that it's a scientific poll, but based on SportsNation's weekly NFL coach approval ratings, it doesn't look like Bills fans would be too thrilled with the prospect of Jauron sticking around.

Jauron carried a 95 percent approval rating for consecutive weeks when the Bills opened the season 4-0.

He gradually slipped to 86 percent the week his contract extension was reported, then dropped to 60 percent and nose-dived to 29 percent last week.

As of late Wednesday night, Jauron's Week 11 approval rating was 28 percent.
