Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson said Wednesday he expects starting quarterback Josh Nesbitt (sprained ankle) and backup Jaybo Shaw (leg) to both be able to play on Thursday night against Miami. Shaw's injury seems to remain a mystery, but Johnson said his No. 2 quarterback is 100 percent.

"All of a sudden on Friday his leg swelled up," Johnson said. "He couldn't figure out why, didn't think he got hit on it. He missed a couple of days, but he's back full speed, so I know we've got him, and we think we're going to have Josh, so we should have both of them ready for the game."

If the Jackets are going to have a chance, they definitely will need Nesbitt.
